After hosting the My Favorite Things event last month I know exactly how exhausted Tara of Padded Tush Stats is right now.
Planning events is never easy and there is an enormous amount of behind the scenes work that goes on for hours a day.
As a nominee, I want to express true heartfelt gratitude to Tara for this amazing event.
If you didn’t tune in last night to the Red Carpet Show, don’t fret! I’m your replay channel. Grab your popcorn and watch as the winners of 4 cloth diaper awards are revealed!

Hi Autumn! Congrats on making it to the top :)
I have a question about lanolizing/wool covers that I didn’t know where else to post. I am in the process of switching my 10 months old diaper cover stash to all wool covers. Right now I have:
(2) Sloomb wool covers
(1) Kissaluvs Wool Lovers cover
(1) recycled sweater cover from Etsy
(2) Thirsties PUL covers
The other day I lanolized my two Sloomb covers and the Kissaluvs cover. I left them in the lanolin/water for an extra day by accident, but thought this would only improved the lanolizing properties anyways. But am I wrong and it actually makes it not as effective? I put the Kissaluvs cover on my daughter for church yesterday and it leaked right through onto my stockings and into a puddle on the floor! So I changed her into a Sloomb cover and that one leaked too, while she was being held by my friend (who happens to be the babysitter, and a supporter of cloth diapering, so at least she was completely understanding!) This morning I had my daughter in the other Sloomb cover and the flat she was wearing underneath was barely damp and I didn’t feel a thing on the cover. But an hour later the cover was pretty damp. This is really frustrating me and I am beginning to reconsider the choice to switch completely over to wool. But really do want to like wool covers so please tell me if I am lanolizing them wrong/too long or leaving her in them too long or I don’t understand how wool covers work or whatever!
Thanks :)

Hi-
I saw that Fuzzibunz was a nominee for best diaper of the year. I must be doing something wrong because I hate my fuzzibunzs. They always get wet around the leg casings and then I have to change the diaper as well as my daughter’s clothing. Adding more absorbency doesn’t seem to help. Any experience with this problem?
Autumn Beck says
Are you using OS? Try adjusting the leg elastic and making sure the insert is fully to the edges.
Elisheva says
It is the one size. The elastic leaves such red marks on my daughter as it is but I will try adjusting a bit and see what happens. I do have trouble stuffing this diaper because it is so narrow so that may be the issue. Thanks for the advice.

Congratulations Autumn! You truly deserve it. Your site the first site I found that truly turned me onto cloth diapers and made my hubby and I feel like it was possible for us to do. I haven’t looked back since and LOVE CDing! You are still my go to on questions, recommendations and where I send others who I know are interested in CDing. You Rock!!

Congratulations Autumn. Your site has been so helpful to me. I don’t think I could have figured cloth diapering out and been successful with it if I had not discovered All About Cloth Diapers a year ago.

Sweet Bottom’s Baby Boutique is my favorite retailer. They offer free shipping (and it’s always super fast for me) in the U.S. on all orders with no minimum and I love that I can buy cloth diapers and earn reward points to put towards future purchases, and I receive free samples with my orders. The thing that I love that makes them unique is their selection of toys. They have great non-plastic toys, which I love.

Congratulations Autumn! Really excited for you – you deserve it! i love your site. So happy I found it right away when I started doing my cloth diaper research.
Kinda disappointed about the BG win though… they really don’t last through one baby; both the elastic and material used aren’t the highest quality, and if you have a bigger baby, they sometimes don’t fit up until potty-training. I was hoping the Fuzzibunz would take the award this year.. bummer.

I was hoping for a smaller name in the top 4 but I am happy for all the success Jenn/Cottonbabies receives.
