Cloth Diapering to save money? Are you in need of affordable cloth diaper options? No need to have any shame in your game! Staying in your budget is a great reason to cloth diaper in the first place. Buying preloved cloth diapers and shopping sales are a great way to try a variety of brands. But if you want to shop now, buy new and not break the bank these might be a good choice for you!

Elemental Joy Cloth Diaper Kit (pocket)

This kit includes: 12 cotton inserts, 6 Cloth Diaper Covers, 1 Elemental Joy Wet Bag, and 1 Elemental Joy Diaper Pail. Made by Cotton Babies, inc. the maker of bumGenius cloth diapers. The kit is the absolute, most cost effective way to purchase these. Available on Cotton Babies’ website for $54 including shipping or for $60 from Walmart.

Imagine One Size Diaper Covers

Sized to fit 8-35 lbs, wipeable interior that makes it easy to reuse without having to wash, leg gussets for an easy fit over any insert. Available in hook an loop or snap. I prefer the snaps though as all hook and loop is not created equal. These are priced at $11.95. You’ll need absorbency to complete the diaper. Good, budget friendly insert choices are flour sack towels, clotheez prefolds, or osocozy.

Diaper Rite One Size All in One

There are cheaper all in ones. But with an all in one, everything you need, needs to be there. And unfortunately with a low, low price you are also mostly getting low, low absorbency. This is one of my favorites because it packs a punch in the absorbency department with 12 thirsty layers of bamboo terry and keeps it affordable at $17.95.

Pooters Hemp Overnight Fitted

The Pooters Hemp Overnight Fitted has been tested to hold 31 oz. If that isn’t enough, you also get a 30 Day Leak Free Guarantee. If it leaks just return it! You can also get a FREE PUL diaper cover when you purchase 3 Hemp Fitteds. They’ve been in business a long time and with good reason. Top notch customer service and products that work!

Tidy Tots All in two

All in twos by nature aren’t the most budget friendly diapers out there. But because of their re-usability and trimness they are still popular and still be found at great prices.

At this price Tidy Tots Diapers are one of my favorites. Not only is the price very reasonable, you just have to love their ethics. All products are made in a certified ARC facility  that hires and trains individuals with disabilities, supported by non-disabled employees. They also feature a 30 Day Hassle Free Guarantee. Don’t love them? Return within 30 days for a full refund.

If you buy an essential set there’s a 30% off sale right now. For $69.96 you get 4 diaper changes PLUS a roll of 100 biodegradable diaper liners and a wet bag!

Sure. There are cheaper options on the market. But I’ve used these affordable cloth diaper brands and I’d personally recommend them as great options. Remember, no cloth diaper works for everyone. You could read a million great reviews, but at the end of the day if it doesn’t work for you, it’s useless.

You can find more info on cloth diapering on a budget here. Two other brands that are also fairly affordable and ones that I trust are Nerdy Mommas and West Coast Dipes,

If you have an ethically made brand of cloth diapers that you would recommend as a great, affordable option let me know!
