Thirsties deserves so much more than this quick post introducing you to their new “baby” but circumstances are preventing that right now!

I had the best of intentions to have this post written last week then the 24 hour stomach virus hit family. Praise the Lord it was *only* 24 hours. After everyone, including my poor mom who flew in for a visit, fell prey to this microscopic monster we left for our vacation in San Diego.

At least we didn’t have to cancel vacation, right??

So, my backup plan was to snuggle into our 2 room suite, get the kids in bed and type up this post. Wrong again. Turns out 2 rooms is stretching it and snuggling I won’t be doing. Just an FYI, La Quinta in San Diego is NOT equivalent to La Quinta in DeSoto, TX. Just sayin.

Alas, here I am. Typing away on my phone. Everything in this post has been done mobile so please be kind about typos and dead links.

Now to the juicy stuff! Thirsties has a one size pocket!

About time! I mean that in jest. But it is great to have a quality, Made in the USA, affordable, absorbent, trim fitting, poo containing one size diaper on the market.

The same great features we all love about Thirsties products are found in the new one size pocket.

I love the reliability of Thirsties leg gussets, soft & strong Aplix and the sleeve pocket. Most of all I love the insert that comes  with the one size pocket: newborn size microfiber insert snapped on top of a regular sized cotton/hemp insert. This is a very *thirsty*combo!

I also enjoyed my son’s first birthday at the beginning of this month and will enjoy celebrating my husband’s birthday 3 days after Christmas. As fas as “holiday-themed” activities. I really enjoyed getting to cut our Christmas tree again this year. I love going out with my kids and feeling all the branches and finding the PERFECT tree!

so far, this year, the most enjoyable thing has been decorating the tree with my 4 year old daughter. i am 6+mos pregnant w twins, so not getting out too terribly much, and this is the first year that Christmas has started to really click with her! she is so excited about the whole season….my dad always shared this love for Christmastime with me, and he passed a year and a half ago, this is only my second one without him. it has been so fun and special to share these moments with my daughter and to see her love for the season grow!

I used All About Cloth Diapers when my oldest (now 5) developed an allergy around 6mo to disposable diapers. If it weren’t for this site, I would have switched back to disposables because I was having so many issues with fit and cleaning. This site really helped me to understand how to cloth diaper. I have used the big book every year even after my kids potty trained because there are so many amazing deals for everyday household and personal needs! So glad I found this site and the big book!

This is a great place to learn all there is to know about cloth diapers and the care of them. There is no right or wrong way to cloth diaper. All in one's may work best for one child but flats may work best for another child. You will understand how to care for your cloth diapers so they last you. There is a wealth of information on various brands and wool as well. Highly recommend!
