One of the coolest things I get to do is being able to follow along with a business from its start, like I did with Little Fanny Pants. It really is a true honor.
Don’t we all wonder if we are worthy sometimes. I’m no different. I’m over the moon every single time someone reaches out to me to help with their small business. Congratulations to Kristine and Little Fanny Pants and here’s to many more successful years!

Want a little behind the scenes peek?
Kristine actually started out selling reusable menstrual products as well as custom made women’s underwear on Etsy under the name Miss Fanny Pants. It’s currently on break, but I checked the old listing on Etsy and all I can find is review after review with 5 star ratings. Ya’ll, that is ALWAYS good to see.
Repeated customer requests led her to consider making and selling cloth diapers. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, right? Kristine then spent months searching and testing before she landed on a style she both loved and had confidence in. Natural fiber inserts. Durable and versatile outer pocket or all in two covers depending on how you use it.
Little Fanny Pants was born!
Kristine really wanted to spread the word that they weren’t just another rebranded cloth diaper. She was offering unique, custom designs and was fully compliant with all applicable testing and laws. I applaud her, and other businesses, who do it right.
I asked Kristine about any changes she has made to the cloth diapers since they launched. Here’s what she shared with me:
We have kept our diaper style the same but changed our absorbency options. We upgraded the material used in our hemp cotton and bamboo cotton inserts to be preshrunk. Our manufacturer preshrinks the material through an all-natural steaming process leaving behind a super soft, absorbent material with minimal shrinkage. We currently have our brand-new upgraded diaper in production along with a few new items we will be launching soon!
What is even crazier is that Little Fanny Pants diapers was launched during a world wide pandemic. So many small businesses were going under. But Kristine was able to keep going and begin to thrive.
When COVID hit I was scared my business would go under. Relying on manufacturers overseas where the entire country shut down makes you feel pretty helpless. Luckily, we had just received a massive shipment of inventory that has held us over while manufacturers get back to normal.
Before starting Little Fanny Pants, I made the decision to never offer pre-order items that would take months for the customers to receive. Who wants to wait that long? This was one of the best decisions I made! I have lots of inventory in stock, ready to ship within a day or two or ordering. Having that extra inventory allowed us to continue to offer our products while other companies struggled to replenish items during COVID shutdowns.
She was able to share a few pics of how products are stored. And I guess it was a bit tricky because the NEW STUFF is on the lower shelves. I didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag before I was supposed to. I’m so happy she was able to share these pics with us!
Here’s the rest of my chat with Kristine…
Who’s involved with LFP? Just yourself? Family members or employees?
Little Fanny Pants is a family-owned and operated business that is based out of our home. When we launched Little Fanny Pants, my husband graciously gave up his beloved garage/man cave for me to pursue my dream and be close to home. He has slowly transformed the garage into a warehouse just steps away from our home. Most of the business is handled by me, but my family has a hand in the business as well. My kids are older now and LOVE to help package orders and tag diapers. My husband is the muscle and numbers man, he helps me keep track of inventory, move and organize all our giant boxes, and pulls orders now and then.
I apparently forgot to ask her to send pics of herself and family. So I snagged this one from the LFP Chat. Hope she doesn’t mind!
What are some of your duties?
We are family-owned, but this mama runs the show most of the time! I literally do everything from working with the manufacturer, designing diapers, tracking inventory, packaging orders, running social media, bookkeeping, photography, website design, advertising, planning releases, working with reps, EVERYTHING! It gets a little overwhelming at times but I’m not comfortable handing my “baby” over to anyone else to run. I really love the one-on-one chats I get to have with customers and getting to know them, it makes it more personal to me.
A typical day starts with eating breakfast while checking emails and answering messages. Then heading to the LFP headquarters to begin packing orders to ship out. I also like to double-check inventory to keep the shelves stocked full and the website up to date. Sometimes I finish the day early and binge-watch our favorite true crime shows, other days I’m at the computer all day into late-night hours with my manufacturer trying to fine-tune our products.
Anything you can share about what is coming in the future?
I am so excited for what’s to come here at Little Fanny Pants. We are gearing up to launch a brand-new diaper style this fall! We have worked hard on this diaper to get it perfect! It’s been a highly requested diaper design and I’m sure parents will love the features and convenience of the design. We will be adding a few accessory items that match our diapers as well. Lots of parents have requested covers and AWJ…… I have been taking notes and will be adding covers and AWJ to our diaper line in the very near future.
Thank you to Little Fanny Pants and so many other small business for putting their trust in me to represent their brands. I love doing it. Make sure you hop over, wish them well and check out everything Little Fanny Pants has to offer!
