Are you in the New York/ New Jersey/ Pennsylvania tri-state area? I’m hosting a Great Cloth Diaper Change event! You DO NOT want to miss it!
What is a Great Cloth Diaper Change or GCDC for short? It’s an event that began back in 2011 as a way to help spread knowledge and awareness of cloth diapers into the mainstream. The goal is to do diaper changes on as many babies as possible with cloth diapers at the same time. Plus there are goodies involved for those of you who show up.
Great Cloth Diaper Change Events are FUN !
- This event is totally FREE!
- You get to meet other local cloth diapering families!
- There are swag bags filled with discounts and samples!
- I have LOTS of prizes to give away!
- We have coffee, juice, bagels, donuts as well as Passover friendly food!
- Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians are scheduled to be at the event to help with your car seat questions. They can also check out your actual car seat to make sure it is installed correctly.
- I’m working on getting a Babywearing expert at the event. But I will still have a table of carriers and wraps for you to check out.
- Even if you don’t have a baby to change you are still encouraged to come to learn more about cloth diapers.
- I will be doing a Cloth Diaper 101 or will answer any questions anyone may have.
Events will be held all over the United States and even all over the world. You can find the map of events here and see if there are any near you!
The All About Cloth Diapers GCDC will be held April 23rd and begins at 10:30 am est.
We will be at the Mombasha Fire House Hall in Monroe, NY. The street address is 526-536 New York 17M, Monroe, NY 10950

This is a great idea! I really hope to get one going in my home town. There isn t really a cloth diaper presence here which is crazy because we are a very crunchy town.

This might be a dumb question but is there an entrance fee? Just want to know how much cash to bring.

There is no such thing as a dumb question. :) There is no fee to attend. You won’t need cash for anything in fact. Not at my event anyway. There are some that have vendors but you can check withe the event directly to find out.

Yay!! This is my first year going to a great cloth diaper change event and I am SO excited about it! Unfortunately we live nowhere near you Jenn :( I would love to be there for yours but will be changing my babies at the same time here in Arizona ?
