Once upon a time there was a mom of 3 that loved cloth diapers…maybe even loved them a little more than the average cloth diaper parent. This mom had a husband with the uncanny ability to turn any passion into a business so he encouraged his wife to write a cloth diaper ebook and blog about her trial and error mishaps and excessive buying habits. At the very least someone could learn from her mistakes and successes and maybe this husband would feel a little better about all the money being spent.
That mom was me, Autumn Beck, in December 2007.
Here I sit in late 2014, 3 children later, reflecting back on the amazing blessing the Lord gave me over the last 6 ½ years.
When I launched All About Cloth Diapers in March 2008, my goal was to teach parents how to use cloth diapers and help them determine what diapers would work best for their baby. Week in and week out I stuck firmly to that goal. The result is a blog with thousands of followers, dozens of sponsors and a wealth of information on the hows, whys and whats about cloth diapers.
Over the years, as our family grew, priorities began to change. No longer was I that young mom with 3 toddlers and weekly playdates. Suddenly my life was filled with homeschooling, puberty, cross country moves, seminary and church plant planning. My passion for cloth diapers waned as I struggled each day to effectively parent my 6 children while praying I wouldn’t lose my mind as I cleaned up poop off the floor in the middle of a homeschool lesson on the sovereignty of God! As I said, priorities changed and it seemed to happen overnight.
In January 2014, I was tremendously blessed to bring on Jennifer Reinhardt as a writer. She knew close to nothing about writing or photo editing but wow did she ever learn fast. It wasn’t long before Jenn was running All About Cloth Diapers without even realizing it.
It was my prayer that I would one day be able to sell All About Cloth Diapers to a mom that had the passion I once had, the passion that cloth diaper parents NEED to feel from a blog writer, the passion for teaching others how to navigate this vast overwhelming world of cloth diapers.
On October 1st the Lord answered my prayers. That was the day that All About Cloth Diapers was no longer Autumn Beck’s blog. It is now Jennifer Reinhardt’s. Jenn has grown All About Cloth Diapers to an amazing reach. This makes me so very happy.
Now that I am not running All About Cloth Diapers I am able to focus on my children more, dedicate more time to the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors training I working on, support my husband as he completes his final year of seminary here at The Master’s Seminary, build my new business Beautifully Blessed Lashes and grow in my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Life is still busy but it’s oh so sweet.
I’m not that active in cloth diaper groups but I’m frequently on Instagram (autumnmichael) and Facebook (beautifullyblessedlashes) sharing fun pictures of my kids and new business. I’d love to hear from you but if our paths don’t cross please know that every time you read a blog post, commented on a post or interacted on Facebook my heart filled with joy. Thank you! I pray that I gave you more than what you expected from a cloth diaper blog <3
Blessings,
Autumn Beck / Beautifully Blessed Lashes
P.S. Thank you for sharing in my family milestones over the years. You were the first to meet Sterling, Camden and Finley!
**Jenn here** What a blessing it was when this all started for me that day last December. I had made a comment in a cloth diaper group about how I was ‘that’ crazy cloth diapering momma! I was excited because I had met someone local to me that also used cloth diapers. Autumn made an off handed comment…”Write for me!” Those words stuck in my mind. And I thought…why not?! I wrote my first post for All About Cloth Diapers at the very end of December 2013 and here we are today. I thank Autumn so much for what she began 6.5 years ago. I wish Autumn and her family joy, happiness and many blessings as they walk those new paths in their lives.
While Autumn is no longer the owner, she is still a very large part of what All About Cloth Diapers is. All of her posts will remain here for you to learn from. This is a huge change for both Autumn and I, but not for you. Things will stay pretty much as they have been since I started back in January. I do welcome your thoughts and ideas though. Please let me know what you think of AACD, what you would like to see more of or even what you wouldn’t mind not seeing. I’d love it if you’d join us in the All About Cloth Diapers Facebook private chat as well. Click here if you’d like to join.
Thank you for being a faithful follower of All About Cloth Diapers!
Autumn is a wife, mother, homeschool teacher, friend and most important a follower of Christ.

Autumn,
Thank you so much for your passion. I happened upon your ebook when I was trying to convince my reluctant husband to cloth diaper. It was everything and more! You mention so many times that trying to sort through all the information online can be very overwhelming, and you are right. Having your ebook was the best and only resource we used. We felt so successful with the entire process and now our little man is two years old, completely potty trained during the day, and wearing cloth diapers at night until he can master that. Your ebook and blog are the first resources I suggest to anyone who asks about cloth diapering. Thank you once again for your passion and priceless information! May God bless you in your future endeavors.
Jennifer, Thank you for carrying the torch! It would be a shame to loose such a useful resource for cloth diapering! May God bless you as you continue in your work!

Hi Cheryl,
Thank you so much for your kind words! Autumn truly is an amazing person and the world of cloth diapers was so lucky to have had her. I have big shoes to fill. :) Have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed holiday season.

Funny…I have been thinking about Autumn for some time now wondering where she was??? Then I hear this! So glad that this site has been able to be passed on to another passionate mama! This site was how I came into cloth diapering in the first place. I had NO clue what I was getting into and now 4 babies later…I am entering my final chapter of cloth diapering (until I convince my kiddos to cloth diaper my grand-babies).
Autumn, take care and enjoy your “new” life :) I also homeschool and know just how tough life can be especially with my littles being 6, 4, 2 and 12 days old! Many blessings on your future ventures :)
Jenn, so excited to read and see what you have for this site. I refer mamas to this site ALL the time for info galore on cloth diapering. I will pray that you will feel the blessings from being a strong advocate for cloth diapering in a disposable world. Good luck to you and I look forward to seeing all that you have to offer this site (which has been awesome so far!).

I had my oldest in May of 2008 and started reading about cloth diapers while I spent hours sitting nursing him. This site and all it’s wonderful information are what give me the confidence to jump on and give it a go! Sad to see Autumn go but wish her all the happiness in her new adventure! Can’t wait to see what you do to make it your own Jenn.

Actually crying. I was a subscriber and a fan for the birth of Sterling, then Camden with his cute ears and then Finley’s super fast home birth (with a big role played by big sister Haley). God bless you on your new venture and may you and your family be abundantly blessed in the years to come.

Awww… y’all are gonna make me cry! Congratulations to both of you ladies and good luck on your journeys! You both have helped me so much these past few months learning something new, which quickly became a passion also!

Autumn, reading your articles is the foremost reason why I decided to use cloth diapers with our second child and why I actually felt confident I could succeed, despite not knowing anyone else who did it or having much support (my husband wasn’t exactly ecstatic and my mom had used them with me, her oldest, and told me it was too much work). I stocked up slowly and read and researched while still pregnant and was well-prepared when we began using cloth once our son was born in July 2009. I remember when Sterling was tiny! I saw a post from Jenn not long after our third and youngest child was born in September 2013. We are now using many of his older brother’s cloth diapers. I am still learning things and still grateful for this blog, especially now that my baby sister is expecting her first child in March and will be using cloth. Yes, I convinced her to do it, partly thanks to your blog :) I’m so glad to hear that Jenn is continuing it! Thank you both so much, and congratulations to both of you as well!

This post is so bittersweet for me. I had my first LO in Feb 2009. It was such a huge year of change and in the midst of it I was determined to cloth diaper. Autumn’s blog was one of the first resources I found (and to this day, by far, still the best). It became my bible for all things cloth diaper related and even mother related. And when I launched my first Pooters diaper a year later, it was Autumn’s blog that sparked a huge interest in my brand. I am forever thankful for having found this blog and Autumn.
Jennifer, I’m so excited for this new phase in your life, what you’ve already done with the blog and what you will do for the blog. Autumn is such a wonderful person and I bet an amazing mentor. I wish you the best of luck on the blog. You’ve got me as a dedicated follower for at least 2 more years – by then baby girl should be out of dipes :-)
Jennifer Reinhardt says
Thank you so very much for your kind words Maj! Autumn always treasured her relationship with you and Pooters. I hope that I can begin to live up to the high standard that Autumn set. <3

So sad to see you go Autumn. Especially appreciated your perspective as non-perfectionist mother of many and the openness of your faith.
