*CONTEST CLOSED—WINNER CHOSEN**

How many times have you wished you had a pocket on the outside of your wet bag? For me it’s every time I go somewhere.  I hate having to take 2 bags: one for a clean cloth diaper and a ziploc with wipes and my Leslie’s Boutique wet bag.

Leslie, being the visionary she is ;), helped me out by creating the brand new Leslie’s Boutique Wet/Dry bag.  It contains a “Ground-breaking pleated outer pocket for EXTRA storage for dry items”.  LOVE it!

If you haven’t read my previous posts on Leslie’s wetbags, check out these posts:

Interview with Leslie

Comparison

Traveling

Best wet bag for your cloth diapers

Camping with cloth diapers

When it comes to a wet bag only one thing matters..okay 2 things:

  1. no leaks/wicking of moisture or odors
  2. cute prints

My Leslie’s Boutique wet bag is my inside diaper pail.  If it wasn’t odor-proof I wouldn’t be able to do that- especially with the odors Sterling has produced recently :( Lately, I’ve really take advantage of the fleece tab at the opening of the bag to place a few drops of peppermint essential oils.

In honor of Leslie’s debut release of the Leslie’s Boutique Wet/Dry bag, I will randomly select 2 winners to receive a medium wet/dry bag of their choice!  Here’s how to enter:(all SEPARATE comments)

  • one free entry for leaving your name :)
  • join Leslie’s new Facebook page for the Cloth Diaper Superstore
  • Have an product idea or fabric you’d love to see Leslie carry? Tell us about it and get 2 entries!
  • subscribe to All About Cloth Diapers
  • Tweet or blog about this giveaway

I’ll select the winners by noon on Wednesday January 13, 2010 and announce it shortly after. Please make sure your email is connected to your comment (you don’t have to post it) so that I can contact you if you win.  God bless!

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners!

KRISTIN (www.babyfeldges.blogspot.com) and BARB!

I’ll send you an email shortly.

    Hi Autumn,

Do you think I could use a medium or large wetbag in place of a diaper pail (or would you not recommend this)? I plan on washing diapers every 2 or 3 days and will have 2 changing stations, so I’d keep a wetbag at each.

    Thanks!

So, I waited too long and missed the giveaway, RATS! But, I wanted to tell Leslie’s that I wish they’d carry a small size with the dry pocket so I could bring just one + wipes for when I am running errands!

I’d love love love one of these! :) Thanks for all the wonderful information on your site!
Product suggestion: I’m always stuffing two things into my wetbag that I like to carry when going out: spare change (for a possible coffee/tea) and my changepad. This second pocket would help with the change but I’d like to suggest two things:
1 – a little attached change purse that would tuck inside the pocket (just a teeny purse attached to a cord on the inside of the bag – almost like a key-ring so you could locate it from the top of the bag but with a cord long enough/stretchy enough to be suffed to the bottom if you’re packing things in the pocket. The little purse would be just big enough to cram some change and maybe the key to your front door.
2 – this might make the wet bag more like a diaper bag BUT I’ve thought about doing this with my exising wetbag: attach a changepad to the back of it. I’ve had various ideas – either have it folded along the length of the bag so that it can be unzipped (and not add too much bulk) – it would then only be attached at the bottom seam of the bag, or – attached at the same spot, have a snap/cord system so you just roll it up afterwards (like a little sleeping bag).

I also like the suggestion of a longer carrying handle for it but again, that makes it more of a diaperbag/wetbag hybrid ;)

    Thanks again,
    Dominique

yes, I do have a product suggestion! I would to see a bag just like the wet/dry bag but with backpack straps! It would be perfect for a potty training little one to carry clean clothes and if there is an accident they have a good place to put them! Maybe have side pockets for their toddler things they always have to have like cars or bouncy balls and another for their drink. All of Leslie’s fabrics are super cute and would still be perfect for a potty pack!

I gave an idea for a fabric, and this is my second entry. But I do have an idea, too. I would love to see something like a mini-diaper bag, that can hold not just one diaper, wipes, wetbag, but also a bottle, and with a hook to attach your keys, maybe a pocket for a phone, too. I love the idea of the little single-diaper bags, but then I still would need to put some other stuff, so I’d wind up taking the whole bag, anyway. Maybe Leslie can tweak this and come up with something great!

My daughter is the queen of rubbing her food in her hair and it drives me nuts. I never had this trouble with my older 2 (both boys) and at 15 months it doesn’t look like she’s going to grow out of it any time soon…

My suggestion is for a box-shaped bottom. I know that means more seams, but then it stands up well on its own. #2

As for a product idea, I’d love to see some custom stuff. It would be cool to have your baby’s name, a favorite quote, or something completely original on your bag. Maybe she could play around with embroidery, appliqué, or even freehand painting!

I forwarded a suggestion for the design. I suggested maybe putting a snap handle on both sides of the bag so for a day out the bag could be attached to a strollers handles more securely avoiding any ripping or damage to the one strap that attaches?
