Pooters Cloth Diapers: A Nighttime Fitted Review

Recently I reviewed the new Tiny Tush hemp fitted and gave it a thumbs up for absorbency and cost.  I stand behind my recommendation but I have found a hemp fitted that works much better on my skinny guy that nurses all night lately :) . Pooters cloth diapers is owned by a sweet … [Read more...]

Cloth Diapers on Facebook

A year ago it was hard to get to know the owners of my favorite cloth diaper stores. They were busy, I was busy. But, as social networking grew and grew it became easy to connect with anyone in the cloth diaper business. Designers, marketers, retailers, bloggers and of … [Read more...]

Bottombumpers Cloth Diapers

This post may contain affiliate links

I am a huge fan of easy.  And I mean easy enough for my husband and 7yo daughter.  For this house that usually means an aplix all-in-one. Bottombumpers cloth diapers are just the type of easy everyone needs in their stash.  Before Thanksgiving, Stacy sent me a red Aplix (at my … [Read more...]

My Experience with Flip Disposable Inserts

This post may contain affiliate links

I don't recommend disposable diapers or inserts be used on a regular or even occassional basis. If they are used it should be for those rare times when using cloth diapers would be unfeasible. Having said that, in November on our final camping trip of the year I decided to try … [Read more...]

What’s your cloth diaper simplicity?

This post may contain affiliate links

It seems that this question has a rotating answer.  It's almost seasonal. Winter: fitteds and wool.  Spring: pockets. Summer: all-in-ones. Fall: prefolds and wool.  Those are just an example but it may be more true than I thought. Right now it's most important for me to … [Read more...]

Have you ever dreamed up the perfect diaper and searched for it online with no success?  For those of us sewing challenged the option to just "whip up a prototype" is absolutely laughable.  Although in my head I can make an entire wardrobe...either I'm deceiving myself into … [Read more...]

For many the thought of cloth diapering one child is overwhelming enough, but what about families that cloth diaper 2 or more children?! When Paisley was born, Haven was still in cloth diapers.  The nice part about my children being 2 years apart is by the time the newborn … [Read more...]

Cloth Diapers During a Big Move

This post may contain affiliate links

I'm back! And boy am I T-I-R-E-D!  Moving is never easy.  Add to that being 36 weeks pregnant and driving 6 hours as the only adult in a minivan with 3 children, 3 dogs and a cat and you see why I'm tired! With this move I have had a few issues come up in regards to cloth … [Read more...]

I used All About Cloth Diapers when my oldest (now 5) developed an allergy around 6mo to disposable diapers. If it weren’t for this site, I would have switched back to disposables because I was having so many issues with fit and cleaning. This site really helped me to understand how to cloth diaper. I have used the big book every year even after my kids potty trained because there are so many amazing deals for everyday household and personal needs! So glad I found this site and the big book!

This is a great place to learn all there is to know about cloth diapers and the care of them. There is no right or wrong way to cloth diaper. All in one's may work best for one child but flats may work best for another child. You will understand how to care for your cloth diapers so they last you. There is a wealth of information on various brands and wool as well. Highly recommend!
