Since working with the size 1 Apple Cheeks cloth diaper I have been able to get a better fit on Sterling. I haven’t weighed him in atleast a month, but just guessing he’s around 15-16lbs. I have also played around with using the shell as a cover by laying in the insert. This has worked out well for quick assembly :)

How would the fit be on a 28lb, 14 inch thigh 6 month old?

In the video is a Size 1 cloth diaper. Just guessing I’d say the baby has atleast 11″ thighs. Your baby would be in the size 2 and I would think there’d be plenty of room. Plus once he/she starts crawling then walking those thighs will trim up a lot.
