EDITED: Sadly Tushmate has since gone out of business.
I am so excited to introduce you to the new TushMate All in One! So many people love the TushMate Newborn AIO and now the design is available in a one size version. I am always so impressed with how hard TushMate works to meet the needs of their customers. They have a true pride in their cloth diapers and it shows.
Abbie and her daughter Trixie helped me review the diaper because Sophia is pretty much out of her cloth now. Let me tell you a little about the All in One and then I’ll share Abbie’s thoughts.
The new TushMate One Size All in One (AIO) is designed to fit 8-35 pounds. The absorbent inner is made of hemp and cotton. Hemp being the trimmest, most absorbent natural cloth diaper material available. Hemp is also naturally antimicrobial which helps to make this easy to clean.
The inner is lined with a fleece stay dry layer. Abbie specifically mentioned how soft it is. Soft is a GOOD thing. The design also includes a stuffable pocket. So if need be, you can add a booster for more absorbency for a long nap or for heavy wetters overnight.
One unique feature of the cloth diaper is that the attached hemp inner folds out of the diaper. Hemp can take longer to dry than other cloth diaper materials and the design of an AIO can also slow drying. Having the diaper designed like this helps to speed the drying process (and as a bonus is another feature that makes it easier to clean).
The print that Abbie received…Vintage Winter Love was designed exclusively for TushMate by Tiffany Parker Howard. TushMate shared that, “Tiffany is an Arizona native born with a paint brush in her hand. Ever since she can remember, she has been drawing and designing. With great passion for design, rich life experiences and the magic fingers, she has been creating design works that are truly magnificent, beautiful and inspiring.”
I love knowing the story behind something. And this print is so lovely. It is unique in the way that it is placement printed. That means that it will be the same on every diaper and always right side up, just like TushMate’s Globe print. Vintage Winter Love is currently available in AIO and will be sold as a cover and newborn size in the future.
Here’s my interview with Abbie. She did receive a TushMate AIO for purposes of review. All opinions and statements made are honest and true.
How big is Trixie now and how did the TushMate One Size All in One fit her?
Trixie just had her 6 month check up last week so she’s 15 lbs 12 oz and just shy of 26 inches long. They are a really good fit on her now. We are on the lowest rise setting and have plenty of room to grow in the waist as well.
Now that you’ve been using the TushMate AIOs for a while, how do you feel about them?
This is a really great diaper. It is really soft and smooth both inside and out. They have nice stretchy yet snug elastic so you can get a nice fit. To me it seems to be trimmer than other AIOs I have used. And the winter scene print is just gorgeous.
Have you used them at night? How did it go?
We have used this for nighttime and it did a fantastic job. No leaks and it didn’t feel damp around the waist or legs like some of our other night diapers sometimes do after a good night of heavy wetting.
What’s one thing you love about this AIO?
I really loved the trimness of this diaper. Even on the smallest rise setting it doesn’t have much bulk to it. And I do have to add that the inside fabric is extremely soft and has remained so after numerous washes.
Anything you wish you could change?
The only thing I would change is drying time, but that is just one of those things about AIOs; they just naturally take longer to dry.
The TushMate One Size All in One can be purchased at tushmate.com. I think it is safe to say that this is one cloth diaper that is worth trying.
Have you ever used a TushMate AIO? Did you love it as much as we did?

Ahh this is awesome to see this wonderful review of this diaper. I am the designer of the image that Tushmate used for this diaper and one other the Farm Land one. I personally loved using these diapers when my now 3 year old was wearing them. They are amazing diapers, and one of the reasons why I wanted to design for them.

I have tried this brand and I love it. I love that you can use it as several styles of a diaper and the prints are just the cutest with so many coming out now.
