Planet Earth Needs Our Help

Did you know that 100% of every used disposable diaper has yet to decompose in landfills.

It is estimated that it takes 500 years for a disposable diaper to break down. That means every single, non-reusable diaper is sitting exactly as it was the day it was thrown away. Ewwww!

Join Us in Spreading the Word

Cecily Fitch created the incredibly detailed book, Cut the CR*P: A Book About Modern Cloth Diapers to bring a complete collection of all cloth diapering information to one place. Over 300 pages filled with approximately 700 super detailed high resolution photos, which will walk anyone interested in cloth diapers step by step through the entire process.

This is the perfect gift for new parents and makes a wonderful baby shower or sprinkle gift.  Cut the CR*P: A Book About Modern Cloth Diapers is also wonderful momento for any family already on their cloth diaper journey.

Make sure you SHARE the giveaway and the kickstarter campaign! It’ll get you TEN extra entries!!!! Totally worth it in my humble opinion.

I’m excited. Are you? Where will you be shopping?

Cecily Fitch, Author of Cut the CR*P: A Book About Modern Cloth Diapers

My University studies centered on wildlife and wildlands conservation, but I still had no idea about modern cloth diapers. I’m so grateful a friend introduced me while pregnant. I was able to see firsthand how easy they are to use and take care of. Between my two children we’ve been able to keep over 14,000 disposable diapers out of the landfills, they’ve been better for their skin and honestly made diapering fun. But most parents don’t know someone who can introduce them.

Love that there’s a book about cloth diapering! I’m such a visual learner (and on paper, not a phone or computer)… and I know a lot of others like this too. Cloth diapering can be so overwhelming when you start (esp for new mamas) -excited to read this book!

Cloth always interested me because it’s what was naturally done throughout time. I was cloth diapered as a baby, and I loved all the cute prints when I started researching. I continued to cloth diaper all my children when I realized how easy it was to potty train.

Cloth diapers have legit saved our booties so many times. Times have been ROUGH, but my kids have always been diapered!! I chose flats and covers to begin with in case I ever lost the ability to use a washer- growing up in poverty this was a valid concern for me. Luckily in our leanest and easiest times, cloth has been both practical and FUN!

When I quit my job due to ppd, we struggled financially. Knowing I could buy enough cloth diapers and inserts to diaper my daughter thru potty training for the cost of one month of disposables saved us every month. As a bonus we were able to diaper her little sister with the same diapers and went several years without needing to buy diapers. Now we’re doing it again with little brother!
